Mind in wonderland
I haven’t really had quality time this week to knit. I’ve been busy puttering around in my head thinking about dyeing and what “blue” projects to knit…and so the end result has actually been very little knitting. I hate it when I get into those “window shopping modes” because nothing actually gets done. And I am sorely lacking “blues” in my knitting stash. Boo.
Now remember that lovely yarn in my last post, well, that’s not going to be my Pomatomus socks because the yarn is actually heavier than I anticipated. It totally bloomed in the washing process and is more a dk weight. After researching (see above), I’ve decided to make it into a mini-clapotis and use the extra left over for ankle socks or something small. I am still making the Pomatomus sock but on the Berries ‘n Cream yarn I hand-dyed. Sorry no photos but it is progressing well after restarting it three times. I find that I really have to take it slow when I set up the first several rows of knitting…if I am rushing or not focusing, I usually end up frogging it all and how I hate that!
Anyway, aside from that sock…I did finish something but I will post it when I have lined it. (Hint hint). It turned out so well!
I’ll try to take more photos tomorrow once I find my camera. For now, I have a Project Spectrum June photo.
This was taken by my brother when he went to visit the Grand Canyon area in March. It’s such an awesome photo and believe it or not, with minimal editing and retouches to the photo. The blues are true and tamper-free! Here are some of his other photos…check his Flickr Album!

Gosh, that blue photo is absolutely stunning! Many thanks for posting that - so much beauty!
Hope you get some knitting time in!
Best wishes,
