I’ve been feeling a little low lately but I really don’t have much to complain about as things have been looking up. And overall, I am optimistic.
It’s been really hot outside today, so hibernating in my house all day. I’m trying to keep myself busy so I don’t have to think, overanalyze or dwell…keeping busy is good. Except all I’ve done today is practice guitar and feel sorry for myself…nice plan eh….so I went to check my mail, and got this colourful package. I’ve been expecting an eBay package, so I assumed it was that but it wasn’t!

How awesome is my Secret Pal?! I love KitKats (yummy)…and the book is definitely dead on. I need to buy more dyes because my sampler dyes have run out. More dyes right now! (I’m already reading the book as I type this entry as well). And I also got two skeins of lovely Koigu Kersti yarn. I have never knit with Koigu before and heard so much about it…and the colours are great. It didn’t really come out that well in the photo which looks more like blues and greys but there are blues, greens and purples of various shades. I love it!
Secret Pal…thank you for making my day and for the lovely gifts. You rock!
