Plans.
Somehow, I’ve found my knitting mojo! Yay. The first step was really going through my stash inventory and deciding what I should do with it all. As much as I love yarn…it’s just so much harder to buy yarn and then find a pattern. I really need to do the, pattern first, yarn second but sometimes you can’t help it. So, I”m trying to resist buying yarn until I start on the other projects for the stash yarn I already have. I’ve put the Pomatomus sock away for the time being and started on a sock pattern from Sensational Knitted Socks. I’m loving it….check out the progress and I’m done with one sock already!
Last night, in order to de-stash, I used some left over sock yarn and knit Molly’s Headband from Interweave Knits Summer ‘06 magazine. The pattern called for a simple Arrowhead lace pattern. It was easy and a very quick knit. I cast off last night and it’s being blocked right now. So pretty!

Going through patterns and my stash inventory has been really helpful…I have a couple projects ready to start. I’ll be felting a bag using the Texas bighorn yarn I bought from StitchCafe for a yarn dyeing class I went to. The colours turned out wonderfully. I think I will start the Apocalypse Hoodie soon too…and I’ll be swatching that this evening. And if time permits, the Dream Swatch scarf/headband. I’m loving this pattern and I think I’ll be using the yarn that my One Skein Pal sent me…the Silk Garden Lite…so gorgeous!
I’m off to knit.
Ps. Did you see? I added the WIP progress bars! Yay.
