Knitting: the answer to everything.

wedding_knits1.jpg

My cousin got married this weekend and boy, yesterday must have been the longest day in the world! I got up bright and early (at 4.30am) to get my hair done and had to be at the site at 8am for photos. Of course, everyone was late and the photos weren’t taken til half an hour before the wedding! (Pinoy time! Sheesh). The ceremony was half an hour late and by then my feet were sore from those sexy heels I was wearing. (Hah!) I originally bought three different projects to the reception thinking I’d have time to do a little getaway knitting somewhere in the hotel. No luck. This photo was taken with an hour left to the reception and when I was ready to pass out. It was a morning wedding, so the whole thing was over at 4pm. Yes, I was ready to pass out that early in the day.

I would have added more photos but for some reason I forgotten how to smile for photos. That or I wasn’t too excited about the whole thing. My cousin’s wedding, really wasn’t a first wedding…it was a renewal of vows ceremony done to seem like it was a first wedding because the originally got hitched ten years ago in Vegas.
The only photos I actually smiled where this one….and of course, I was knitting.

And then this is a decent one here (where at least I don’t look like i’m completely depressed) with me and my god-daughter, Hailey. She’s such a cutie and quite the model.

I promise to have more FO’s next post….I have a few that I haven’t posted and the sock I’ve been knitting should be done by today. Hopefully.
