Eye Candy Friday: Choco-Vanilla Swirly Goodness
This photo was taken (borrowed/stolen) from my brother’s Flickr…he’s been taking some excellent photos. This was an ice-cream treat was eaten on a visit to Toronto.
Well, this weekend pretty much represents the last weekend of summer. I have to say though, I’m OVER summer time…bring on the cool weather and warmer knits! Yeah!
I have a couple FO’s that are drying at the moment, and as soon as I can will post them. Unfortunately I haven’t been knitting as much. My left arm has been bothering me, to the point it’s getting numb and tingly. I can’t really blame knitting because I think I injured my wrist on a seperate non-knitting ocassion, but then when I’ve tried to knit, it’s really bothered me. So, I’m going to take a short break. I’ve actually started crocheting recently. Having to do the ‘ruffle’ part for the Ms. Marigold knit inspired the crochet-interest and put a little ease on my left arm. Plus, all those cute little Japanese craft amurigumi has made me want to learn how to crochet.
I’m looking forward to a nice long weekend. My arm feels better already.

I would love to make some of those cute little amurigumi. I think I must learn to crochet, but I get so intimidated by the instructions. I guess I have to remember that knitting once looked as daunting.
