Scarf knitting

Even though I am tired, knowing that tomorrow’s Saturday doesn’t matter. I’m not that tired. Not really. Work is kicking my ass but I’m learning to seperate as I ease myself into the job. I need to take advantage and enjoy my FREE time. And I really miss knitting! I joined the International Scarf Exchange and finally…started knitting that scarf. I’m knitting the Liesel Scarf by MJ at YummyYarn and it’s a wonderful pattern. As a beginner lace knitter, this is the scarf to start with. I was contemplating on knitting Branching Out but I need something simple and quick. I am using Elsebeth Lavold’s Silky Wool in Sunflower…so pretty! I’m loving it. I ended up also buying about ten skeins of Silky Tweed from Webs for my Simple Knitted Bodice (don’t know when that’s gonna start) but yeah…I just got paid and all I wanna do is buy yarn, yet…I don’t have the time to knit…hence the dilemma, eh?

Ah knitting…how I love thee. Thank you for keeping me sane.

P.S. Forgive my awful camera phone photo.

That scarf looks great. You’re so brave. I can’t seem to do the lace thing yet. I love that yellow!
