My name’s Belinda and I am a yarn addict…
Time flies! I haven’t done much knitting lately. (Boo!) But I did take the time to organize my yarn properly…storage and all. I figure it’ll help me figure out how much yarn I have and I came a the conclusion that my stash wasn’t so bad and that my last purchases of sock yarn didn’t deserve my guilt tripping.
(Did you know that there are new Yarn Pirate yarns at the Loopyewe store?) Drool!
Sigh.
I don’t know why I’ve been posting ‘every’ single thing I’ve bought lately…it’s kinda egotistic but it’s knitting related so…wait a minute…nearly everything I’ve bought lately IS knitting related. *Shrug…it’s kind of an obsession. I love that it’s a creative process for me…and the process of making it. I love wearing things I’ve knitted but that happens rarely, although I’m trying to make it a point to wear it. I promise. I also love indie crafters and Etsy. There’s just something about handmade, homemade goods. I’m a big fan of Ysolda and had to snatch this up from her Etsy store.
So cute! Right now it is home to boyfriend’s socks. I love the detail of this pouch. And check out the hand stamped tissue paper!

And this is so knit-geeky but this is such a great bag. Ms. Karissa Cove is a very talented seamstress.

i prefer to not post about the stuff i bought. my obessession is as deep as it is indiscriminate. i need to hold on to whatever dignity i have left! however, it is not beneath me to link to all the things i’ve looked at and maaaaaaybe purchased.

I love it when people post pictures of their yarn stashes or new purchases. It helps me to see how I fit into the picture of stash acquirement. I also like to see what other people are buying. I just bought some Yarn Pirate yarn in the Culture Club colorway from her etsy shop. I can’t wait to knit it up.

I love that bag! I’m going to have to make one like that. Oh, and I also don’t post everything I’ve bought. Especially when it involves 38 balls of yarn which was reduced from £5 to 99p. (In my defense, 20 balls of it went towards knitting things for selling. So it doesn’t count.)
