Muy caliente.

temp

It’s November but I’m slightly confused.  Look at the temperatures we’ve been dealing with here.  It’s great yes…but I am ready for a little cool down and whatever winter has to offer here.  Seasonal changes aren’t so exciting here but I’m glad for the beautiful weather.  It’s just a little disconcerting when the temperature jumps almost 20 degrees!  Indian summer indeed.

Knitting related.  Have to put the Dragon socks on hold, it wasn’t working well with the Sweet Georgia yarn colourwise, so I’m going to try the Pomatomus socks again.  Wish me luck.  I didn’t do so well last time.  I do have to recommend the Dragon skin pattern…it’s fantastic and so easy to knit, compared to the Pomatomus socks, in my opinion…but both socks LOOK great.

I know what you mean about this weather! It was so warm and humid yesterday that the wool yarn I was working with kept sticking to my fingers and refusing to slide off the bamboo needles! (p.s. I tried to email you, but it bounced back: in a nutshell, I just wanted to say that I didn’t think you sounded mean in your comments about indie dyers. I love supporting them too. :) )
