Go Poma socks!
Finally! I think I’ve gotten the hang of the Pomatomus sock pattern. After two repeats of Chart A…it’s finally sunk in this usually absent-minded brain of mine, and I feel like I’m making some decent progress. I originally started knitting the Sweet Georgia Libertine yarn in the dragon skin pattern (that I love love) but it started pooling pretty badly.
So here I am now…and it’s goin’ well. This pattern is pretty addictive and makes perfect sense.
I knit the sock to the TV show “Heroes” tonight. In my opinion, this show is THE ONE to watch this season. So far, the storylines and characters have been riveting and I await each Monday with great anticipation. (I love Hiro! He’s my favourite character.)
Other shows that have kept me company this season while knitting have been The Office, My Name is Earl and the CSI shows (whenever possible…there’s too many shows and sometimes I’m just not around).
Wow, I already feel like it’s my Thanksgiving break. I get Wednesday off…so my mind is halfway on vacation already. Whee. I can’t wait for all that free time I have to knit!!! Seriously, that’s why I’m looking forward to this break, I want to knit…even if it is only 5 days. At least, I hope I’ll be able to.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

The yarn looks great in that pattern! Lovely work
and I am also a big fan of the TV knitting - seems like we watch many of the same shows!

great, huh? that pomatomus pattern…it’s not even that difficult once you get the hang of it. i’m just taking my time knitting this pattern because it really highlights the yarn and i love looking at the pattern as it manifests with each repeat. i do believe you’ll finish your socks before me!
you’re already farther along on your first one than i am on mine. haha.

Wow! That is a really lovely colorway for the poms. I’m so glad to hear that you are getting the hang of it. I knew you could.
I totally agree with you on Heroes. It’s fantastic!
