Gag reflex…
anyone else feel it while watching the AMA’s and the Pussycat Dolls trying to sing while distracting us all by shaking their nubile bodies during a poorly choreographed dance routine? Oh man, when did I become such a music snob? But you have to agree, unless you’re a 14 year old boy, PSD suck yarn balls!
Listen to Podcasts instead…I was introduced to them by way of the Ricky Gervais show, by way of The Office (Brit version). This show is freakin’ hilarious. It used to be free until 4 million listeners convinced them otherwise but it’s well worth it. They pretty much talk bollocks the entire show and make fun of Karl Pilkington (of “I could eat a knob at night-fame..heehee) and his round head. I love it! Sometimes I don’t get what they’re saying but their English accent, Karl’s idiocy and Ricky Gervais’ maniacal laughter gets me going.
The girls over at Lime & Violet are pretty hilarious too. They sound like they’re having soooo much fun…talking yarn and sharing their sock knitting love and other fiber habits. Listening to them always makes me wanna buy more sock yarn, and right now, I don’t need more of that…heh…really! I have some Lisa Souza yarn (still on its way) coming and a bunch from Piece of Beauty. *Wheeeee….I got this recently and wow…I love love love Piece of Beauty, I mean…look at this..made me order more.
I present Vintage Floral. Isn’t she pretty? She’s super soft and squishy too. Sigh.
(Can you tell? Yarn makes me happy!)
Oh yes, and those socks, my Pom’s are going superfast now…so weird. I knit Chart A in two hours, that is unbelievable. I finished the last repeat while waiting for my car at Pep Boys…phew! Off to do the heel…

Your new yarn looks delightful. I’m glad to see your Pom socks going so well. I might have to tackle that pattern in the future.
