Several things to cheer about…whee!
It’s been a really busy month and I haven’t even started my Christmas shopping yet! Yikes. However, I finally finished my Pomatomous socks! YAY!
Project: Pomotamus Sock
Pattern: from Knitty by Cookie A.
Yarn: Sweet Georgia sock yarn in Libertine
Needles: #2 DPN’s
I wish I had better photos but I didn’t have time to set up, plus this week being the last week of the Fall semester, I’ve been so swamped. I LOVED LOVED this pattern!!! Cookie A. (who rocks) has some amazing sock patterns which I want to knit, including Baudelaire and her latest pattern, Monkey (!!!). These socks were meant to be for me but they were slightly too big, meaning I should have gone down a needle size AND I’m going to end up gifting them away for xmas. I loved the yarn too despite the pooling that occurred on the second sock (right sock) that was knit. I am not sure what happened there but that sock was slightly larger too. I think I just ended up knitting more loosely this time around. I really enjoyed knitting this pattern, once I got a hang of it. The second sock just flew so quickly that I think I will knit this pattern again soon.
I also finished the Irish Hiking Scarf but no photos yet. More to come later. Soon, soon!
My boyfriend took this photo yesterday. It’s pretty hilarious but some guy is taking Christmas seriously, and making people smile too…Christmas seems to be a very stressful time for alot of people, and for that reason, the owner of the car was happy to make people smile and giggle a bit. Anyway…check out this car’s dashboard too!!! And yes, this guy drives around in this car. Heehee. He certainly has the huevos. I wonder if he drives around with all the lights lit up?

THREE MORE DAYS until my Christmas break! I feel like I could sleep for two days straight.
