Favourite online stores
Rainy days…long hours…loud kids…and even more annoying adults. Knitting has been a very welcome escape for me despite the lack of time lately. I seem to spend a lot of time browsing online yarn stores. Here are two of my favourites.
This store is a new find for me, thanks to Lime & Violet. I love this store! What beautiful and original colourways. I really love the earthy tones of these yarns that I’ve been eyeing like this, this and this. I’ve mainly visited the site for the sock yarns (duh) but there’s a very nice selection of yarns in different weights. The gals who run this site are pretty awesome too.
Sheri runs The Loopy Ewe which is an amazing store specializing in sock yarns. They have an amazing selection of indie dyers, like Sweet Georgia, Yarn Pirate and All Things Heather, and a fantastic selection of sock yarn staples like Opal, Regia and Lorna’s Laces. Sheri always personalizes her packages, it’s like getting a present from a pal…even when you’ve paid for it. Definitely one of my go-to yarn stores!
Well that’s all for now…been feeling guilty for not posting lately. Work has been pretty busy lately. It’s only 8pm and I’m already tired. Sigh.

I love the Loopy Ewe. Everything looks so pretty on their site, and I love how they support small-time yarn dyers.
