The Almost F0: We Call Them Pirates Hat.
When I’m driving from/to home to/from work, my mind always wonders off to lala land and I’ll eventually start writing a blog post mentally in myhead. I have wonderful ideas and topics in my head that I want to write about but the minute I sit down in front of my laptop, I draw a blank. Nada.
Useless. Sometimes I worry about the ADD-like mind but with everything in the world today being so information heavy yet we all have something to store them in (PDA, cellphone etc), who needs to remember anything? I’ve only memorized three numbers, my own, my parents’ and my boyfriend’s. Lame huh?
Speaking of forgetting, I almost forgot about this knit. It’s pretty much done EXCEPT for the lining. I loved the blues on blues in this hat, it’s a perfect wintery blue hat that makes me think it would be perfect if I knew how to snowboard. I got really excited knitting this hat that when I first started I was knitting too tightly. I finally loosened up but the brim is too small for my large noggin, unless I stretch it. Then it would be like this giant head clogging cosy that would prolly give me a giant headache. Luckily I have plenty of young nieces and nephews…I can gift this away for Christmas or some random birthday.

Awww shit, I just signed up for Yarntini’s Sock Club at PureKnits. Yeah, more sock yarn. Dammit! But this was something I couldn’t pass up. Heh. My excuse for everything I’ve been purchasing lately has been, it’s a birthday present to myself. But after the tenth time, that justification is just weak.
Sock yarn is my kryptonite. Dammit!

I love that hat! Great color choices.
I avoided the sock club. It was sooooo difficult but I had to. I have so much sock yarn it’s a damn shame!
