I finished the shrug. FINALLY! I still have to seam the sleeves but I’m going to take my time on that. Finishing isn’t a strong skill of mine, so I am going to wait a little. There are times when I am zooming to the end to just finish a knit and usually, that does not bode well for me. Something always seems to go wrong. Knitting has taught me ALOT about patience, that’s for sure!
I think I love love Malabrigo!!! I used the Violetas colourway for the collar of the Two Tone Shrug, and compared to Manos…well, in softness, it beats Manos hands down. It’s just soooo soft! I pet it alot whilst knitting with it. 
Hah, kinda sounds pervy but I bet there are alot of knitters out there that do that! And Malabrigo colours are so nice too. I love how the colours shift ever so subtly.
I feel a little bit burned out at the end of this week. I think I’m going to work on a square for the Lone Knitter’s blanket drive contest. Somehow, knitting something square without much thought to the pattern or length is therapeutic for me. Plus the instant gratification factor is sweet. I believe the contest is going on til June 30th.

omg, i don’t know what’s going on but i feel so behind on reading your blog!?!?! wth! but i agree with your feelings on malabrigo! mmmm….yeah. i love your socks! your monkey socks a few posts ago are adorable! i love the color! and how about that fitted knits book, huh? i’m flipping through it all the time, dreaming…*sigh* i didn’t know you went to UCLA. my good friend aka went to UCLA. cooooool. anyways, i’ll be sure to keep checking instead of relying on a blog aggregator. have a great weekend!

Ah, the Malabrigo love! I, too, prefer it to Manos. I have a suitcase full of it that I purchased a while back (I’m a yarn collector). I take it out and pet it every now and again.
