Being green

Green is one of the colours for Project Spectrum…and well, it is my favourite colour. You should see my sock yarns and see how “green” it is. This is the latest stash enhancement courtesey of Cider Moon yarns. I’ve been knitting with another colourway (Johnny Cash) and really love the fluffy squishiness of the Glacier yarn. I’m making socks and it’s been really a delight to work with so far.
I’m currently deciding between either this colourway in Lost of the June Carter from the last post as to which will be on the needles next. And…I don’t know if they are gonna be socks either. Cider Moon has alot of free patterns for the Glacier yarn…so maybe it’ll become wrist warmers or a hat.
I am off this week for Spring break (yay) and I will try to take photos of the rest of the greens I have…I don’t have many pinks or yellows, sadly. It’s not easy avoiding greens…I instantly drawn to it and it’s quite an obsession.
I decided to start Flair in a very spring time green as well. What an interesting knit so far!

It’s strange, but I’ve never really had a knack for green - up until I started seriously knitting again a couple years back, and then with knit blogging and seeing all those gorgeous skeins and yarns and colours and whatnot… And suddenly a big love for green began to bloom in me, and it’s gotten bigger and bigger over the time. By now I can honestly say that I adore green in all shades - and this skein is a particularly beautiful one!
Happy Spring Break!
