The not so new computer.

Why I’ve been so busy doodling with this instead of needles. Busy setting it up with new programs and really just learning how to use it. I’ve been a pc user for years…know it from inside out and to move to an Apple is really weird. I like it alot and to tell you the truth, installing programs has been ten times easier and smoother. I won’t go into the whole pc or mac-bashing…they both have their own advantages and disadvantages but I love this iBook. It’s compact, lightweight and pretty user friendly. I was given it barebones by Dan, giving me the choice and chance to install and configure it to my liking. It’s so nice to install programs and not be asked if I also want it here, there and maybe there. Simple.

I also picked up Lomo’s Fisheye lens camera at Urban Outfitters–as you can see by this photo. So much fun. I swear, I almost forgot how to load regular film in that camera, it’s been ages! I am kinda eyeing Lomo Fisheye 2 as well. Don’t they look like toy cameras? Anyway, I don’t really want to buy it at Urban Outfitters because Amazon’s selling it for a discount price..and anyway…I have such a love/hate relationship with Urban Outfitters. Alot of their clothing and accessories are super cool and super trendy but at the same time, half the pieces look like you can make them yourself! Arrgh…that really frustrates me when they sell a piece of material and mark it up to $48 which is prolly the average price in that store for a top. I say…go to Etsy.com or one of the other talented crafter sites online…more individuality, uniqueness and style. Or better yet, learn how to make it yourself.

I don’t know how I got onto this topic with no knitting related details. I gotta write a paper on Autism today. I’ve been procrastinating. Bad.
