It’s Saucy!
Up early for breakfast and Wimbledon. Summertime has hit with full force out there. It’s hot but I’m active and not completely dormant. Hey, I even ran 8 miles yesterday.
I finally finished my Sockapalooza pal’s socks. Whee!
Pattern: Saucy! from the Cidermoon gals
Yarn: Piece of Beauty in Seabream (approx 385yds)
Needles: 2.5 mm and 2.75 mm dpns
Dates: 6/21/2007 to 7/7/2007
Mods: Adjusted the length of the leg for 4 repeats only to make it shorter and due to the amount of the yarn available. I also had to adjust the stitch count for the foot for a custom fit. I wasn’t sure if the original sock would stretch enough so I added an extra inch. Oh my gosh, I hope it fits well! It makes me nervous just thinking of another knitter receiving socks I’ve knit. I hope she/he likes it.
The pattern was well written and very detailed that a beginner could easily follow their instructions with little to no problem. The Cider Moon gals have written the instructions step by step leaving no stone unturned and I had very little questions to ask as they were all answered. I would definitely recommend their sock patterns to people who were beginning sock knitters.
During my nice, long and lazy 5 day weekend, I managed to dust off the clapotis that was in hibernation. Loving the flow and needing to get back to it soon after this post.
Federer’s already a legend in making. But c’mon…Go Rafa!

Pretty socks, and your Yarntini club yarn looks like a lot of fun.

Wow, these socks look absolutely awesome! The yarn you were using seems to be just the perfect one for them, it makes the pattern really “pop out” - perfect indeed!

I win the sock lottery!!! They’re gorgeous and they fit perfectly! I put them on right out of the shower this morning and took some pictures to post on my blog. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Thanks also for the goodies you included in the package. I had to hide the soap from my husband’s dogs (who will eat anything that smells good). You rock sock pal!
