I realize the weekend in Michigan for the wedding threw me totally off schedule but it’s five days later and I think I’m back. I haven’t had too much time for knitting, although as you can see from the pic, my friend Ro and I did spend a bit of the down time with our needles. I am STILL knitting the BFF socks and she is knitting the Montego Bay scarf (looks great!).
I think I forgot to mention that I was/am moving! Yay. Just picked up the keys yesterday and now I need to get some packing done. I am totally not prepared for this move. The last time I moved I gave away literally, everything. All my furniture. I’m the type who loves to throw away things. Now, I’m hoping that this time around, I’ll start collecting pieces I’ll keep for a long time. Nothing fancy, just something easy to move and light, for future moves. The new place is small. But it’s just me living there. And there is a teeny garden that I hope to later plant vegetables in. although, I have no idea how. Well…at least I have this month off work to get things done.

oh man i HATE moving! good luck! I do the same thing you do..i give or sell all my furniture so i have a reason to buy all new crap! hahahaha. and i always buy cheap so i don’t feel guilty about giving/selling all my old stuff.
