One Happy Sockapalooza-er!
This post should have gone up last week but I’ve been in Limbo Land. I decided to take several days of just to recover from 2006-2007. Hah. And this thing called moving, let’s not even go there. But I digress…I received my gorgeous socks from my Sockapalooza pal, Grace! I love love ‘em!
The yarn is Koigu (which I’ve never knit with before) and the pattern is Meida Sock’s from Interweave’s Favorite Socks.
See? They’re pefect!
She also sent a package along with the socks that included a handmade card, stitchmarkers, cloth bookmark and Socks That Rock Lightweight Yarn in the Farmhouse colourway. Yeah, I got lucky! Grace, from what I’ve seen in her blog, is a fantastic sock knitter. She’s made some awesome ones and cranks them out like no-one’s business. Thank you Grace!
I’m really happy about how this exchange went. It was fun to receive the socks and not expect them and it was great to make socks for someone else who understood the whole sock knitting craze/obsession. My downstream sock pal was CJ of Siege and I’m glad she received the socks yesterday because I totally spaced out on the deadline.
Well I do have more FO’s but that’s for another post. I cannot find my little tripod so it’s been such a pain trying to take photos of my feet. I have more packing to do but first, breakfast!
