Stashbusting

It’s always a pleasure to stash-bust. I tend to start projects and then mid-way, start looking at other patterns and yarns. As a result, my stash has grown a little bit out of control but lately, I’ve been doing a good job on using some of the lovely yarn I have.

The latest I’ve used was the now closed Cider Moon yarn. I’ve always been a big fan and was saddened by the closing of the store last year. I’ve had quite a stash, some now sold and many knit into lovely items. I received the Victoria colorway in Cider Moon Glacier from my bf last year for my birthday. I had been drooling over the vibrant purple and I guess he took the hint. The yarn sat lonely in my stash for the last year and a half until I decided to make the Confection Cowl by throughtheloops. I’ve mentioned before how I’ve been loving cowls. It is the new scarf.

The combination of the yarn and the pattern worked extremely well together. Et voila…
