Before/After
The before picture is as pretty as the after, in my opinion.
Before: Batts from Evonne Wee’s Etsy shop.
After: my attempt at spinning into a sorta artsy yarn with the locks Evonne added to this lovely order. I had so much fun spinning this up. I literally let my creativity flow.
Been busy this last week catching up with work and traveling…but I have spun lots of handspuns that I need to photograph. Spinning has been fun!
I also went to Color: A Fiber Festival up in SF too. All that fiber…it was awesome.

That is lovely, Bee! I think texture is so underrated and what you have there is amazing. A simple garter stitch something would show off the nubs and sparkles best. I really, really like it!

That yarn looks great after! You can only pet batts for so long
Sorry I missed you at the guild yesterday! I was feeling crappy and sick and weird. Don’t know what’s going on but today I am feeling a bit better. I’ll make it a date for sure for November’s meeting! So if you can make it that would be great.
Are you coming down for the southern California handweaver’s guild festival on November 2nd? That’s supposed the biggest show in town! Even Village Spin and Weave will be there. http://www.schg.org/festival/
